DR. BARRIE KRAUSE has worked with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with emotional, behavioral, and learning disorders in diverse outpatient, inpatient, and school settings. Dr. Krause has received extensive training utilizing various cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, including trauma-focused treatment modalities. Additionally, Dr. Krause has in-depth experience conducting comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments, consulting with teachers and school administrators, and supervising doctoral-level students in administering assessments. Dr. Krause's doctoral dissertation focused on the ways in which parenting a child with anxiety and depression relates to family functioning and the co-parenting relationship, in particular. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Krause worked in a school for children with autism. Dr. Krause earned her B.A. from Barnard College and her Psy.D. in School-Clinical Child Psychology at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. She completed an APA-Accredited Pre-Doctoral internship at the Jewish Child Care Association.
